Moonrise Izakaya is a new, intimate Japanese gastropub on the Upper West Side. We hope to deliver tasty food, unique drinks, and most importantly a fun, lighthearted experience to the Upper West Side.

An izakaya (ε± ι ε±) is a type of informal Japanese pub. They are casual places for after-work food and drink. They have been compared to Irish pubs, tapas bars, early American saloons, and taverns.
